Kinda Kinky are a band exclusively devoted to the music of The Kinks. Mixing the hits like You Really Got Me, Lola, All Day & All Of The Night, Waterloo Sunset, Come Dancing (and dozens more) along with deeper album cuts, transports the audience on a rockin’ journey back in time.

Seasoned vets of the Twin Cities music scene from such past and present local faves as The Funseekers, Spectors, Lolo’s Ghost, Run Westy Run (among many others), these well respected men are one of the most disciplined, hard working acts in town. With over 135 Kinks songs in their repertoire, their annual holiday extravaganza often stretches to an incredible five hours.

Fronted by the uncanny Ray Davies soundalike Dave Randall, along with his sparring partner Keith Patterson and the very formidable rhythm section of Paul McFarland and Steve Kent, they are a Minnesota musical treasure. Kinda Kinky are more preservation society than tribute band - eschewing the typical costumes and posturing while embracing the musicality, attitude and live chops of the original act. A fully authentic experience for fans of live rock ‘n’ roll. Making the Star Tribune's “Big Gigs” list 8 years running, their annual holiday benefit concert is always a sell out; they’ve also made the Strib’s Top Ten Live Bands list. These four Kinkies like nothing more than rocking out & having fun from morning ‘til the end of the day!
